Elements of the Prairie - June 5th-16th

Let’s explore the prairie and how the wind, fire, water, and the earth beneath our feet all play a vital role in making it a healthy ecosystem. We’ll create art using all of the different elements, enjoy classic summer camp activities and go on a field trip to the prairie.

Parents and Guardians: Please note there will be walking and bus field trips.

Cost: half days, $200; full days (includes lunch), $400

Gardening Galore - June 19th-June 30th

Playing in the dirt is the perfect summertime fun! Starting off with some important pollinators, we will learn about bee life cycles and learn some basic bee identification. We’ll get our hands dirty in Limestone’s vegetable garden, create miniature gardens, and our very own terrariums.

Parents and Guardians: Please note there will be walking and bus field trips. Optional Summer Solstice celebration will be held.

Cost: half days, $200; full days (includes lunch), $400

Fossil Focused - July 10th - July 21st

Travel to the past as we discover how fossils are made and about the ecosystems that created them. We will create art inspired by ancient creatures, enjoy classic camp activities, and even go on a fossil hunt.

Parents and Guardians: Please note there will be walking and bus field trips.

Cost: half days, $200; full days (includes lunch), $400

Sustainability in Action - July 24th- August 4th

Let’s learn about what people are doing to make our world a more sustainable one! We’ll have visits by the Kansas City Zoo and other special guests. The Limestone garden will provide us an opportunity to learn how to preserve our own food.  We’ll also dream up our own living landscapes, create recycled crafts, and have a chance to enjoy classic camp activities.

Parents and Guardians: Please note there will be walking and bus field trips.

Cost: half days, $200; full days (includes lunch), $400
